Credix is a decentralized credit marketplace that connects institutional investors globally with credit fintechs and non-bank loan originators in emerging markets. Credix enables investors to access attractive and diversified credit opportunities with less friction and lower costs, while providing borrowers with more funding options and competitive rates. Credix leverages the Solana protocol and bridges centralized finance (CeFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) to achieve scalability, security and transparency.
Credix was founded in 2021 by Thomas Bohner and Maxim Piessen, who have backgrounds in finance, technology and data science. The company is based in Belgium and has raised over $13 million from investors such as Motive Partners, Circle Ventures, ParaFi Capital, Solana Ventures and others. Credix’s vision is to democratize credit investing with a positive impact.
